Elain Lim is a Singaporean makeup artist with nearly three decades of experience in the industry. Since 1996, her work has appeared in International editorials such as Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Vogue, as well as commercials for beauty and fashion brands like Apple, Uniqlo, and Nike.

She is Singaporean actress and entrepreneur Jeanette Aw’s personal makeup artist, and has also worked with numerous other local and international celebrities, including Mandopop stars JJ Lin, Tanya Chua, and Stephanie Sun; Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova; and South Korean actor Kang Dong-won. Her skill and experience have garnered her notable recognition: she was first runner-up in the Shu Uemura Beauty Art Makeup Competition 2003 and won Best Makeup Artist at the Singapore Fashion Awards in 2017.

In addition to her extensive portfolio in editorial and celebrity work, Elain also specialises in bridal makeup for weddings and other special occasions. Her passion for the craft later inspired her to hold small-group, personal makeup classes for clients, which continue to run on an ad hoc basis today.
